Something a Little Different

Penn & Teller: Bullshit!
"Using a combination of set ups, descriptions, rants and film of practitioners, Penn & Teller show the bullshit that's everywhere."

Penn & Teller have been telling us who is full of shit (and who isn't) for eight seasons now. With their trademark Libertarian skepticism in tow, the comedy team takes it to beloved left-leaning movements like eating organic and going green, while being equally critical of religion, the War on Drugs, and the Boy Scouts of America. The two are at their best when boldly doling out controversial opinions like their support of Wal-Mart despite widely discussed ethical concerns about the company, or calling the Vatican out for the copious amounts of bullshit that it dishes out, but are at their worst when using the show as an opportunity to grandstand about things like taxes or simply pointing out the obvious. Astrology is bullshit? No shit, Bullshit!

Heres a controversial one, where P & T take on creationism and I love every bit of it.

Extras

                                                       http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0445114/

Andy Millman is an actor with ambition and a script. Reduced to working as an extra with a useless agent, Andy's attempts to boost his career invariably in end in failure and embarrassment.

Since I wrote about The Office in my last post I might as well talk about Extras in my next. From the creators of The Office, Ricky and Stephen ( Ricky's agent in the show ) both starred in their next big hit. I enjoyed this way more than The Office U.K. to be honest. Of course coming from Ricky the show had very excellent writing and a brilliant cast. What did it for me is was all the celebrities who cameoed on the show, such as Kate Winslet, Daniel Radcliffe, Orlando Bloom. The show only ran for 3 seasons which is a shame since it was so good.
Patrick Stewart who also cameoed, one of my  favorite scenes.

Ze Office

                                                                          The Office
A mockumentary on a group of typical office workers, where the workday consists of ego clashes, inappropriate behavior, and tedium. Based on the hit BBC series.

So yeah if you haven't seen or heard of the Office you must live in a cave or you're dead. To be honest I didnt start watching The Office till last year even though the it came out in 2005. The reason? I was too damn popular and if its too popular its probably shite. After much dismay from my friends I decided to give it a try and to my surprise, well not really I knew the show was good. And from there I was hooked. Theres one thing I dont like about the show and thats Michael Scott. Don't get me wrong I love Steve Carrell and he does a fantastic job playing his character. He does it too well. I cringe every time theres a scene acting like a complete a-hole. Alas he was made so.

Heres probably my favorite clip I've seen and always seems to get my to laugh.
